At the anual meeting it was decided amongst the members that our spring trap league will start Tuesday May 15th and Sunday May 20th. For those that don’t know your team can shoot on either the Tuesday or Sunday times, it is all one leaque.

There will not be awards, but everyone will put in $5.00 towards a BBQ at the end.

This will be an 8 week league.

We are looking forward to an awesome shooting season at the Pine Bluffs Sportsman’s Club.

This Saturday, February 11, 2012, at 9am, I will be holding an NRA Range Safety Officer Course. In an attempt to make our range a safer place for everyone, I have opened the class for all club members at only $25.  This fee and the NRA RSO registration fee are refundable through the club if you complete volunteer time as an RSO.  You do not have to become an RSO if you take the course. It can just be an opportunity to learn more about safety on any shooting range.  Please call to register, so that I have plenty of materials available.

 

I have also set up a course schedule for training for the 2012 season.  As always, I am giving the courses at reasonable prices in order to foster safety and improved gun handling and shooting skills.  All courses are discounted $5 for PBSCI members.  Once you have taken a course, you can retake it as often as you want for FREE to sharpen your skills. (Space is limited). I contribute $5 to the club for every non-club member who attends. Please recommend other shooters to sign up for classes, everyone at the club benefits.

 

I have also designed two fun shoot days to promote my shooting classes. On May 11, 2012, a military target 3 gun fun shoot will be only $25 for club members. Lots of interesting reactive and even exploding targets are waiting for destruction. There will even be a battleship style game on the pistol range.  Lots of free prizes and even some awesome t-shirts will be awarded to participants. On October 6, 2012, I will hold a Zombie shooting day. Oozing zombie brains, zombie hordes, bleeding zombies, exploding zombies, etc. await.  Are you ready for the next zombie attack?
